Historic Renovation/Restoration of the Ritz Plaza Hotel, a historic art deco landmark originally designed by Architect L. Murray Dixon that originally opened in 1941 and restored in 2011. The project included 140 luxury boutique hotel guestrooms, two renowned restaurants brands – The Bazaar by Jose Andres and Katsuya by Starck, the renowned Hyde Beach Club among other amenities. Located on the oceanfront in trendy South Beach, this luxury hotel was designed by Philippe Starck, who collaborated with rock star Lenny Kravitz. Amenities include an 8,000 SF pool area, and 2 upscale eateries featuring Spanish cuisine and sushi (an open kitchen/restaurant replaces the traditional lobby). There’s also 28,000 SF of event space.
